About the Role
Pharma MNC, with its India HQ in Bangalore. The incumbent will lead the marketing efforts for the eye care portfolio.
1. Achieve top-line market share and bottom line for assigned therapy/Brands
2. Develop and implement marketing strategies for therapy segment/ brands
3. Analysis of market using primary and secondary data for the assigned brands & segments, for both internal as well as competitor products
4. Monitor ROI on brand strategies
5. Undertake market research to analyse the market/ customer behaviour
6. Train the new field staff on the disease/products, the promo material usage. Conduct refresher courses periodically. Guidance on customer identification/profiling
7. Support the field staff on field communication, doctor objections, and queries, handle competitor claims, and manage Key Opinion Leaders
8. Effective co-ordination with other functional areas e.g. Medical, Training, Promo team supply chain, Finance etc.
Requirements
The incumbent will be responsible for leading a therapy segment by developing marketing strategies and promotional plans for the assigned brands.
The ideal candidate will have 8-14 years of experience in a MNC pharma set up.
Must have exposure to product launches.
Team management experience is good to have.
